About Me

      Hi, I'm Kyle Sarti! I'm a New York based post-production specialist and production engineer. Originally from Chicago, I started my career in film and television at Weigel Broadcasting Company, a studio creating local and international original programming. I joined the studio during the peak of the COVID Pandemic, which meant that the crew present was very limited, which necessitated that each member be trained in multiple facets of production. This led to my training and proficiency in production assistance, teleprompting, robotic camera operation, studio grid lighting, set building, and audio engineering (pictured left). But my responsibilities did not end there. Not long after its first few episodes, I requested to work as an editor on one of our shows "On the Block." I saw the show's unique presentation of news as a way to further develop as an editor and also add the marks of my own artistic vision to the show. I worked two full-time positions at Weigel, and worked in both production and post for "On the Block," aiding the show in getting its mutiple Midwest Emmy Nominations and its Midwest Emmy Award. However, as much as I enjoyed being embedded in the studio to that degree, I knew that the amount of opportunities to grow in Chicago's film and television scene were limited, so I've moved to New York to seek out those greater opportunities!
